Works great for 100mbit connections. You can't simply split an Ethernet signal to two devices; both devices need their own IP address to work with UniFi. You need a switch. With a DreamMachine and u6 Pro mounted inside with a mini PC. Cut holes in the side or bottom of the box frame allowing for access to switch ports. Share. elantra04. • 2 yr. ago.The PiHole has really good logs and you can both create custom endpoint block groups, and block sinkhole any domain you wanted to. For just plain simple block some adds maybe the UniFi tool is good enough for some people, but on my network I like having the visibility and control of the PiHole.AmpliFi is just mediocre hardware with a ripped off clone of OpenWRT on it that Ubiquiti slapped their name on and refuses to honor the licensing agreement for the code they took. Don't waste your money on AmpliFi. Between the lite and the LR I would go with the LR for the better antennas and 3x3 on 2.4GHz vs the 2x2 on 2.4GHz for the lite.Thanks for posting on r/Ubiquiti!
